The morning of Wednesday, May 10th, Web Services in collaboration with our vendor will be migrating the TerminalFour (Version 7) Web Content Management application to a new server.
This change has followed Technology Services Change Management protocol and has been approved by the Change Advisory Board (Change - 9003358). This change only affects the backend TerminalFour (Version 7) application users use to edit their website. Public facing departmental websites will not be affected.
This change will require the database to be copied and moved, any changes made after 11:59 pm on May 9th will not be migrated. We expect this work to be completed by 8:00 a.m. on May 10th and will send a follow-up notice when this work is completed.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any further questions specific to your website or ability to edit in T4.
All 4 of the Web Services' T4 team members will be in Boston April 26-28th for the T4 conference. We will have limited opportunity to provide support. Please don’t schedule website launches during this time. There will also not be T4 Workshop or Consulting during this week.
Last year many of you helped us to start the overhaul of the existing "Change Request" process. Thank you!
This was an important first step to help us re-prioritize and expedite the inclusion of new "Change Requests".
Now we would like your input again. This time you get to vote on a wide range of the more popular product ideas that have been contributed by the TERMINALFOUR community.
All you need to do is to go to the ideas portal at https://terminalfour.ideas.aha.io. You can sign in as a user and can view the ideas, discuss with other users and place your 30 votes.
It is important to note that this input from you as a valued client is part of an overall strategy to enhance the product and to make sure it is a product that continuously improves to meet your evolving requirements. This is a really important part of our overall product strategy but please remember we (like you) have limited hours in the day and limited resources so we will do our very best to include ideas in the product but cannot commit to specific timelines or changes at this point in time.
We will leave the voting portal open until the end of April.
If you have any questions at all please do let me know.
I'd urge everyone to vote. It's important that VCU's concerns with this product are met and this is the best way!
